Footnotes
Mr. Don - The standard blissful Don trance gives way to a more tense Magner-led theme within the first few minutes of the jam. Barber takes more of a commanding role around 12:30 and the jam settles down considerably into spacey atmosphere. The build-up back to the Don ending is extremely patient and thematic
Bernstein and Chasnoff - Some pretty standard B&C bliss jamming that gradually slows down, as Magner sneaks in with some distinctly Magellan-esque piano. He hooks up with Sammy and Brownie in the final minute before the segue, which is as smooth as you could ask for
Helicopters - A pretty standard ambient trance jam emerges from Helicopters, but by the 4 minute mark Magner has locked into an infectiously catchy theme on the flute patch. He stays predominantly on the flute patch for most of the rest of the jam, allowing Barber to contribute complementary riffs. After a chaotic crescendo around 9:30, the jam settles down into a Trooper intro
I-Man - After a standard middle section, the I-Man jam is a very slow burn. it builds on a darker than typical theme with meticulous patience until it descends into utter chaos around the 17 minute mark. From here the jam deconstructs and builds itself back into Shimmy territory for a rousing Shimmy peak
Little Shimmy in a Conga Line - A fiery Shimmy peak serves as the exclamation point to an exploratory I-Man jam
