Footnotes
Little Lai - The first jammed-out Little Lai. The last few minutes of the jam are the stand-out, as a rocking triumphant jam develops, sounding very much like the yet-to-be-debuted Home Again. The transition into Helicopters is sloppy, but the forthcoming Helix jam is a must-hear.
Helicopters - Recommended for those who like their Biscuits deep and dark. The jam starts off innocently enough with a light airy vibe. After transitioning to minor for a bit, things get weird and the jam calms, but it’s a menacing calm. An atmospheric dark jam develops. The band builds the intensity, backed by a great breakbeat groove from Sammy. Then Sammy shifts to halftime dub, and the darkness continues. Great intricate Barber work. After several minutes of this locked-in dark groove, Sammy speeds up the tempo to lead the band into AC2B.
Aceetobee - The customary AC2B chill 2nd jam turns darker and Magner goes full spacey-effects mode. A very, for lack of a better term, WEIRD jam develops. Some peculiar licks by Barber. The band is locked in to this psychedelic sound, while the dynamics of the jam are constantly shifting. Sammy starts playing only his snare in a drum-roll style. Then Sammy slyly brings in a four-on-the-floor beat and the band goes into a chill dancey groove. The intensity builds until Barber plays his AC2B ending riff, but then a sudden drop segue into Pygmy!
