Footnotes
Jigsaw Earth - Excellent, playful full-band jamming with a strong Barber undercurrent. It reaches a mild crescendo, breaks down, builds up to a more energetic and Magner-dominated crescendo, and finally breaks down again and segues gently into Sound 1.
Sound One - A tour de force. The jam locks in immediately, proceeding along a simple and addictive trance line from Magner. The jam breaks down into dub, but this trance line maintains continuity between the two themes. The dub theme is more triumphant, with just a touch of melancholy, and it builds to a dizzying crescendo. Spectacular, without a single dull moment.
Jigsaw Earth - A dub jam finds its way into a mellow space until Jon latches onto a menacing line. After a few runs through, the rest of the band locks in and they head into sinister but bouncy territory taking this jam into dark uncharted waters and finally back into the end of Jigsaw.
Astronaut - The jam is well-served by the 02 synths. The jam begins as trance, but soon settles into a tense and percussive passage that builds up and switches on a dime into the Astronaut peak.
Little Betty Boop - The jam begins as playful trance and settles into a strong groove. About halfway through it breaks down into equally playful dub, and explores this section for a few minutes before building back up to the Sands peak.
