Footnotes
Digital Buddha - A very exploratory, improvisational Buddha, it immediately strays into a melodic Magner led jam while Barber plays several terrific accompanying riffs. It continues with a very good D'n'B segment before transitioning into a rare Park Ave.
Evolve - A rare performance of Evolve led to a Magner heavy improvisational jam that waded into type II territory before dissolving into One Chance. An excellent version from an incredible show.
Vassillios - An uptempo, fluid jam kicks off one of the best sets of the year. The band is in sync as Barber plays a repeating riff that pairs well with the master work Aron is doing on keys. It picks up pace after some dark trance & almost slams into the 1st inverted Why We Dance. 1 of the finest Vassillios’ in years.
Why We Dance - The first inverted version & 1 of only a few that have been jammed out, this version comes out of Vassillios like a train. An expanded jam that includes an excellent them from 15m-19m before an excellent transition into Munchkin. A JOTY contender, this one took the song to the next level & is 1 of the finest versions played to date.
